Arrests after English Defence League rally

Fifteen people were arrested and four police officers injured during a demonstration by the English Defence League.
Some 300 members of the right-wing group started drinking from 11am ahead of today's march in Stoke.
There were scuffles with police when members of the EDL tried to break a cordon preventing them from clashing with members of anti-fascist groups.
A member of the public was also treated by paramedics after being injured during the demonstration, and a number of vehicles were also damaged in the melee.
Superintendent Dave Mellor from Staffordshire Police: "Our officers will now be reviewing CCTV, video and other evidence gathered to pursue those identified committing offences to put them before the courts."
The demonstration in Stoke was the latest in a number of protests by the EDL, which insists it is not racist but is simply taking a stand against Islamic extremism.

Hanley 12 midday resembled a police state as English Defence League protesters started to arrive in the town for their demo against Islamic extremists. Hundreds of police lined the roads and formed cordons across junctions. Police vehicles were used to block off streets in what was effectively a no-go area of the city of Stoke-on-Trent. Stoke rail station was swamped with police who forced EDL supporters onto buses to take them into Hanley town centre.
At the rally point demonstrators were prevented from having free movement of the streets and were kettled into a small area for over two hours. Frustration finally boiled over and after several attempts large numbers of them broke free only to be meet by police batons and shields. This led to some violent clashes and several injuries and arrests.
The demo of over 1000 people was made up of a significant number of females and ethnic minorities. Many local people showed a positive interest and actively supported the protest.
At one stage mouthy anti-fascists taunted the protest. But turned and ran like the wind when a group of EDLers rushed through a police line to take them up on their challenge of ‘come on then’
Apart from the disorder towards the end, for which the police need to address their draconian tactics, the demonstration was a success in once again drawing attention in a direct way to the threat which radical Islam poses to the UK.

Arrests after English Defence League rally
.
These so called 'EDL' demonstrations will be allowed to continue for only as long as it takes for the State to seem to have been acting reasonably in the interests of 'freedom and democracy', and then the axe will fall on all future demonstrations by any genuine nationalists.
In the 1930's it was the Jews and their communist stooges in the East End of London who violently rioted every time Mosley's BUF appeared, however, they were the ones who were rewarded by the introduction of the Public Order Act, which impacted directly on the law abiding BUF and not the law breaking reds and their criminal Jewish controllers.

They will allow them to continue in the areas they have not been to. Probably Newcastle and Portsmouth are left, then they have pretty much done the country and photographed all the dissidents/thugs that are going to come out. Then it will implode or be banned i would imagine.
I heard the rival football mobs were punching it out before the demo started, also the numbers could of been as high as 2,000.
Again i know we can all point the finger at the silly banners and that, but at the end of the day it cheers me to see hundreds of whites on the streets, basically because they despise moslems.

Just make the muzzies go away.
And then we can all pretend that we still live in a country as described by H. E. Bates.

This video gives an idea of how peaceful and well supported the demo was until police decided to go for total control and close it down inciting a hostile response.

I hardly think i was saying that....
How long would you last in a pub in the company of these EDL lads?
How receptive would you be to the average lads on a building site?
As i have stated before, i enjoy reading your posts, but you are smug in your wisdom. You are far removed from what the average person thinks, and duly you cannot relate to them. The fault of many on this site and nationalism as a whole.
