To commemorate the liberation of the survivors of Auschwitz, a day of antifascist films is being held at Bradford 1 in 12 Club on Saturday 23rd January. Drop in for one film or come and watch them all. There’ll be fab food throughout the day, as well as the Leeds Anarchist Black Cross bookstall.

Entry is free of charge, but donations are welcome, and any money made will go to support antifascist prisoners. Doors open at 12 Noon.

Film Times:

* 12.30pm: Hitler – The rise of Evil – Robert Carlisle stars as history’s biggest bastard.
* 4.30pm: The Pianist - Adrian Brody stars in an epic story of survival in Nazi-occupied Poland.
* 7.30pm: The 43 Group – The inspiring story of the Jewish ex-servicemen and women who smashed Mosely’s fascists off the streets of post-World War 2 Britain.
* 8.00pm: Edelweiss Pirates – The true story of young antifascists taking on the Nazis in war-time Cologne.

The venue is actually owned by the Reds, or at least they rent it.

I seem to remember reading online about the history of the club including how they received grants etc.

Nationalists need a venue like this, where we can meet and educate like-minded people!!

I understand that there was recently ( on another site I might add) a bit of a feeding frenzy to do with Eddy Morrisom- with a number of posters claiming that EM had in fact not been beaten up by these red filth.

Just to confirm that Eddy WAS in fact attacked- along with a comrade of his who was not as badly injured as EM- who needed a dozen stitches to a wound to the top of his head- courtesy of a glass bottle. I know because I travelled up with a carload of comrades and we missed what I promise you would have been a much more even matched confrontation with these lowlifes by about two minutes. Eddy and comrade were redirecting outside the Heddingley ground- unfortunately as crowds were gathering for a big game so the filth were able to disappear into the crowds.
